Family Guy

Kaká and Caroline Celico met in 2002 in Sao Paulo, and the two started dating soon after. Although Kaká transferred to Italy 1 year later, the two stayed together until Caroline finished school in 2005. Then, on December 23, 2005, the two lovers tied the knot at the Evangelical Reborn in Christ Church, in front of 600 guests, including Ronaldo, Adriano and Roberto Carlos.

For fashion-lovers, Caroline wore a Christian Dior dress in the wedding, unsurprisingly, as her mother represents the famous brand in Brazil. Kaká, meanwhile, as a representative of Armani, wore *surprise surprise* an Armani suit.

Some interesting facts about the wedding:

- Kaká wrote a song for his bride, which was sung by the church choir
- To avoid city traffic, the couple flew by helicopter to the hotel
- The majority of Caroline’s guests were friends from St. Paul’s British School, her high school

(Click here for pictures from the wedding.)

So after their honeymoon, at ‘an undisclosed place outside of Brazil’, Kaká went back to Milan, with his gorgeous wife, who planned on studying business at a university in Milan.

On June 10, 2008, the wonderful couple was blessed with a son, Luca Celico Leite, who was born weighing 3.59 kg, 51 cm tall, and in perfect health. He was born at 1 am in Albert Einstein hospital in the couple’s hometown, Sao Paulo.

The family’s story in a picture slide-show:

Isn’t she just gorgeous? ;)
